4th - 5th Grades

Let's dive into division, factors, exponents, fractions, measurement and data with group activities, projects and games. Every class students will work on their own colorful and reference-handy interactive notebook, exploring math at a new level. We will build on skills learned in 3rd grade math to help students perfect their multiplication, learn long division, factors, prime and composite numbers, analyze patterns, use place value, exponents, properties of operations, fractions, mixed numbers, start using and converting decimals, solve problems with measurements and conversions, represent and interpret data, explore angles, rays, and line of symmetry, and volume. Standards for 4th and 5th grade CCSS will be covered. Homework will reflect the practice students do at home. Students can use any math curriculum of choice. In class assignments and tests will be graded.
