1st - 3rd Grades

This reading/phonics/spelling course helps the level 1 reader take the next step in learning new phonics sounds and rules... by being detectives and solving mystery cases of missing letters. Each child is a secret agent in the Reading Detective Agency. They will be searching for clues and decoding special sounds and rules by using hands-on activities, games, and worksheets to reinforce what they are learning.

They will also use their detective skills as a super sleuth while reading Nate the Great and the Sticky Case and completing activities in a book report.

This course is for the level 1 reader...a student who knows the sounds of letters, including vowels, and has already mastered short vowel and some long vowel words.

Students should know the basic sounds of the letters, including vowels.  They should be able to read short vowel and long vowel words.
