During this yearlong class, students will learn important concepts from the three main branches of science: Life, Physical, and Earth. With a tri-method curriculum, student will focus on hands-on science labs and activities in the classroom and digital lessons at home. Students will also use a textbook that doubles as their workbook to reinforce and enrich important concepts. ScienceFusion builds inquiry and STEM skills in the classroom, at home, on a computer, and while using the science textbook. The digital curriculum, virtual labs, hands-on activities, and write-in science textbook develop important critical-thinking skills that prepare students for success in future science courses and in the workplace. We will work through three textbook/workbooks over two semesters. The three workbooks are listed above and can be purchased with charter funds. They are available at the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt website and on Amazon for $15 each.
Fusion Science 1 and 2 use the same hands-on, digital, and workbook approach but use different curricula. They can be taken concurrently or in different years in any order.
