Biography:

Curiosity for color and design started as a young girl who wanted to be able to make her own Barbie clothes. The thrill of being able to put together pieces of fabric and colors, that I choose myself, started me on an incredible journey. Whether it was those simple doll clothes, a high school prom dress or a tailored coat, I knew I could develop the skills to make a garment that no one else had. As a graduate of FIDM in L.A. (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) I acquired additional technical skills in the fashion industry. With my focus on design and construction, I was then able to offer my designs skills and products to small boutique shops in the southern Calif. market.

Since that time I have had the privelge of teaching over 500 local adults and youth the art of sewing. Working with private home schoolers has been a thrill and joy for me as I help build their skills and confidence in this area of focus.
