Kinder and 1st Grade Programs

    These are the 'learning to' years where growth and knowledge are developed with purpose. Students explore academic areas and develop skills across core subjects of literacy, math, social studies, geography, art, and physical education. Children learn through games, music, sensory exploration, worksheets, reading books, and more.

    Ms. Kate

    First grade is FUNtastic! In this class, students will engage in a variety of fun activities designed to foster creative thinking, build character development, and reinforce 1st grade academic standards. This course will include a variety of cooperative group activities, interactive games, songs, and projects. Students will develop a love for the learning process, while strengthening valuable skills in reading, writing, STEAM, academics, problem solving, social studies, and character development.

K-3rd À la Carte Courses

    Get ready to experience all the things we love about early elementary exploration! Learning through play, students will discover Art - Movement - Sharing - Nature exploration - Self Discovery - Character Lessons - And More! Collaborative games and lessons help to foster understanding, creativity, and problem solving. This class brings joy to the learning!

    Ms. Lorna

    This class is a beautiful combination of art, science, and visual exploration. Our experienced Charlotte Mason instructor will be live-streamed into the classroom with an onsite aid to help facilitate the lesson. Don’t let the streaming component of this class deter you from registering! We have hosted multiple classes with Ms. Lorna in the past and they have been dynamic and very well received.

    Participants will study a plant, animal, or other element of nature.

    Each lesson has three parts: observation, guided drawing with a pencil, and ink outlining and colored pencil work.

    Mrs. Zorichak

    This class is an interactive class that encourages cooperative, social, and team building skills while having fun with friends. Various games will be shared each week by fellow students and the teacher and played in several different groups. The origin, history, and inventor of the games may also be included.

2nd-3rd Grade Programs

    Ms. Sammy

    Using thematic and project based learning, students will explore art, science, language arts, social studies and more. This class is interactive, collaborative, and all the fun and engaging activities you want for young elementary students. Breaks, outdoor time, and lots of social interaction will be built into the program.

    Mrs. Zorichak

    Students will experience social studies, history, geography, science, language arts, reading detectives, and math concepts with an interactive hands-on approach. This includes projects, simulations, and games with independent and cooperative/group learning.

    Some of the units this year will include: pioneers, inventors/inventions, Civil War, community workers, Presidents, world cultures, expeditions, etc.

    Each class also emphasizes the importance of character development with monthly character traits such as: cooperation, self-control, honesty, resourcefulness, and determination.
